spiralyourbeing: science: Quasicrystals as sums of waves in the plane. This is the closest thing I’ve seen to the “colors” in my peripheral vision that I always talk about. They are faint and colorful. Mostly shades of green and purple (which happen to be my favorite colors). Also some gold, red, and blue. They are a little too faint to make out the exact pattern but I feel like this is a good representation of it. They also move like this picture.
